Jonathan Preston: Jonathan is the Animation Director here at Tarnished. He studied fine art before moving on to Staffordshire University to focus on animation – in particular CGI character animation. After graduating, he has since worked on a number of short films and advertisements for several companies: most notably the Staffordshire Regeneration Project with Junction 15, an anti-smoking promotional short for the NHS, and a short film for Stars & Heroes aimed at animation festivals.

Liz Paton: Liz trained in classical art and design before taking an Honour’s degree in animation at Staffordshire University. She also worked at SMA animation studios in Stoke, best known for their work on the Famous Grouse and Fairy commercials. On graduating she became a freelance animator and VFX artist working on a wide range of projects and companies, from award winning video production house Junction 15 to charitable foundation New Directions Rugby. Liz is the Creative Director at Tarnished.

Amanda Evans: Mandy is the Operational Director of Tarnished Studios and is responsible for ensuring that our projects get delivered on time, to budget and to the highest quality standard. Mandy’s background is in delivering multi-media projects, installations and large exhibitions across the UK – with very significant experience in designing, storyboarding and implementing educational experiences.

Adrian Preston: Adrian has 25 years’ experience in senior and executive management roles for companies developing and managing enterprise media, media software and media delivery platforms. From 2006 to 2011, Adrian was COO of Prospects – a publishing organisation that provided web, print and video media to the University sector.
